Salalah is at the major city of the Dohfar region of southern Oman, and it is located on the Fareast spot of Arabic world to the east, because it is out of Arabian Gulf (Persian Gulf) that made it very important port in the region, which qualified it to be the main port of middle east in the near future inshallah and the above map can show you the importance of Salalah's location.
Weather
Salalah's weather is very strange according to the weather of gulf, in summer it is the most beautiful weather in this region (rain and green mountains) but it is very hot in other gulf countries and in Oman it self. Salalah climate hot only from April to end of may and beyond that it is perfect specially in Summer (khareef) when the rain falls and mountains wear green clothe.
Salalah is not the only significant place in Oman with stunning nature. You can find the same lovely nature in different parts in Oman and in the Mountains of life in Oman. Not all people love to go to Salalah to enjoy the nature and traditional life, but there are lots of options around here.
